Willow is a true dual-purpose whippet. She excelled at active sports and has the patience for obedience and rally. Willow was a shy, independent, clever Whippet and will try anything at least once. She is my first Whippet and will always be my special little girl.
Our greatest achievement was receiving the Award of Versatility from the American Whippet Club. To achieve this award a whippet must compete in several performance sports and achieve points based on title levels. She earned her last title at the age of 10 years old while competing in Barn Hunt.
I had almost 11 fantastic years with Willow. She passed away due to pancreatitis. Despite my vets best efforts we were not able to save her. She is deeply missed but she leaves me with very fond memories and taught me how to be a whippet owner.
I miss you so much little one...
